The hotel's position was particularly good, not far from the main activities, streets and restaurants and the old town for a night. My room was reasonably large and well-designed and featured BEAUTIFUL view of the valley.

The breakfast here was enjoyable, with a variety of fresh fruits and flaky croissants.

Cool place, large beds, especially helpful staff. Nicely furnished rooms with a mini refrigerator, a safe, and a hair dryer, delightful views. Excellent, incredible location in Val d'Elsa district short walk to the center of town, and the main activities, streets and restaurants, THE BEST LOCATION. Also, right in the heart of town.

This hotel had a great location for exploring Umbria and it was great to return to in the evening. The dining room was an extra special treat for lunch or dinner. A gourmet delight. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a beautiful, relaxing setting with unbelievable food!

Hotel L'Antico Pozzo is the perfect choice in San Gimignano. the place is clean, staff is courteous, and it is located in a beautiful area with a marvelous location close to the center of San Gimignano. the hotel offers a great selection at breakfast including croissants, slices of fresh bread, and cereal.

The room was great-sized and air conditioned, I had really really nice experience.

I truly enjoyed the hotel overall. The venue was romantic and clean with delightful views of the valley. Every staff member was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The provided service was impeccable.

The hotel was in a fantastic position within the walls of San Gimignano and allowed for easy enough access to the hotel by car. The room we had was huge with high ceilings and very antique looking with period furniture (inclusive of a wrought iron 4-post bed). Hotel staff were more than accomodating and very friendly. In terms of getting there by car, you can drive in and stop in front of the hotel for about 10 minutes to unload, then drive out to the car park which is just outside the town's walls (about 300m walk from hotel).

The rooms here are beautifully designed and air conditioned with comfortable beds, a lovely view, and a fridge; the hotel is located in a quiet area of the town.

A pretty standard hotel with no real charm. The room was pretty basic and could have done with a make over. The breakfast was very basic.

My recent two-day stay at Hotel L'Antico Pozzo was very nice. My room was small, but it was only meant for a single person. The view out my window was fabulous. The hotel is charming, and all the staff I encountered were very kind and accommodating. The breakfast room and adjoining courtyard are absolutely delightful and beautifully maintained. I wish I could adequately convey the aroma that greeted me when I awoke on my first morning there...freshly baked croissants with a hint of sweetness. They tasted just as good as they smelled, accompanied by fresh fruit, a slice of Tuscan pecorino cheese and a cappuccino...yum! If I ever have the chance to return to the stunning Tuscan town of San Gimignano, I would most certainly stay at this lovely hotel again.

My wife and i stayed here for 1 night in Sep. The accommodation was nice and comfortable with a neat view into the inner courtyard below. We were on the 3rd floor so the elevator was ver convenient. Location was first class being a couple of minutes walk to the main town centre. Getting to it was a bit tricky but we were allowed to drive into the town and then to the hotel entrance, park a moment while we unpacked and then we moved the car back out to one of the main car parking stations (#3) on the fringe of the town (into a private garage that we had hired through the hotel which was very good). Breakfast in the large separate airy common area was great and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Great places to visit are the Basilica and the Great Tower (views are just spectacular! but quite a climb). The shopping is also fantastic. Something for everyone. We had a lovely dinner at a place in a back alley called Dorando. Highly recommended.

The hotel is situated in a very central location within a pedestrian zone. It's close to Piazza Della Cisterna, Tuscany, and the city wall. Everything about our stay was great.

The excellent and very helpful staff is the main reason to stay at this hotel. They made expert bus and train connections for us and restaurant recommendations. We were upgraded to free WIFI . Also loved the spacious well appointed room and antique furniture and view from the 3rd floor overlooking the courtyard . Bathroom was adequate sized and had all the modern conveniences. Most of all, we enjoyed the vibe of San Gimignano and the feeling of having been transported back in time that one gets after the tour buses leave and you have the town to yourself.
